Pricing for 3D Product Videos

We aim to deliver a high-quality 3D animation for a medium price. This quality-to-price ratio is hard to find elsewhere, which is why our 3D product animations provide great value for money.

What are the pricing factors?

Pricing depends on four main factors: whether you already have a 3D model, how complex the animation is, how long it runs, and the overall quality level. Simple, shorter videos with basic backgrounds cost less, while longer, more realistic animations with complex motion like liquids or airflow cost more.

Pricing Summary:

  • Example range: $2,500 to $90,000 (see video examples below)
  • Typical length: 20–60 seconds (some projects go up to ~120 seconds)
  • Pricing is driven by: 3D model availability, complexity (liquids/airflow), length/storyline, and quality/background detail
  • Quoting: quote within 24 hours / one business day; 30% upfront to start

Pricing Factors

Pricing depends on four main factors.

3D Model

3D Model

Is the model supplied or
should we model it?

Complexity

Complexity

Simple rotation or
complex movements?

If you provide a usable 3D model, pricing is usually lower because we can move straight into animation. If the model needs to be created from scratch, the scope increases since it has to be built, checked, and prepared for animation. The cleaner and more accurate the model is, the smoother the process tends to be.
Simple motion costs less than complex sequences with many moving parts. The more detail you want to show, the more planning, animation work, and rendering time it takes. Effects like liquids or airflow are typically harder to animate, often require extra technical work, and usually increase price.
Duration

Quality

Quality

Simple, realistic or
something in between?

Many animations are 20 to 60 seconds because that is enough time to communicate the core message clearly. Longer videos, sometimes around 120 seconds, usually require more scenes, more camera work, and more animation effort. These longer formats are often used for sales presentations or product pages where more detail is needed.
Lower-detail visuals cost less than highly realistic work because realism takes more time in lighting, materials, and rendering. Background detail matters too. A plain background is usually cheaper, while a detailed environment like an industrial workshop or landscape adds production work and pushes costs higher.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a 3D product animation cost?

Pricing is project-based and depends on the exact scope. The total depends on what’s included in the project and is treated as a custom, scope-based cost.

Why is there such a big price range?

Pricing depends mainly on whether a 3D model is supplied, the duration/storyline, the complexity of movement (liquids/airflows tend to increase complexity), and the overall quality level/background detail.

Do I need to supply a 3D model?

If you supply a 3D model, your price is reduced. If you don’t have one, PinkSquare can create the model from scratch (which increases cost).

What is usually included in the price?

Planning, production, animation, rendering, review checkpoints, and final deliverables in agreed formats.

How do revisions work?

Feedback is usually handled in stages, so direction is confirmed early before final rendering.

Can an animation be updated later if the product changes?

Often yes. Updates depend on what changes and how the project files were built. This would be viewed as a new project.

Do you require a upfront payment to start?

Yes, production begins after accepting the quote and paying 30% upfront.

Where can I learn more about industrial or process animations?
